A Little About Mrs. Pugh

My name is Mrs. Pugh. I will be teaching fifth grade this year. This is my 6th year teaching and 5th year teaching at Scenic Heights. My favorite subject to teach is math. I graduated from UWF in 2009 with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I have lived in Pensacola all of my life. I am married and have a beautiful little daughter. If you ever need to talk to me about your student, please always feel free to communicate with me. I have high hopes for this school year and can't wait to get to know each one of my students!

Ready for an exciting year!

We are very pleased to be your 5th grade teachers. We are looking forward to a year filled with engaged learning and curious minds. We use Whole Brain Teaching in the classroom and  believe that talking and sharing the information that students are learning is a great way for the students to learn better.  We use small groups for most of our teaching, as this helps us meet all of our student's needs!
